Elizabeth is a phenomenal teacher. She captivates her students with conventional and non-conventional methods that teaching. Students are so intrigued with subjects she presents that they don't want to leave class. She allows students to expound upon their learning in such a way are not just learning the basics about the subject at hand, but they are thinking above and beyond the lesson….they are thinking outside the box. The students are learning life skills as well as subject matter. She does not just want to them learn for today, she really wants them to be ready for tomorrow. The culmination for her teaching is exemplified in the students standardized test scores.
Although her teaching abilities are astounding the one quality I praise her the most for is her genuine care for the students as well as teachers. She will go above and beyond to assist teachers in improving their instructional methods.

Fact: Teachers are digital immigrants and their students are digital natives. Therefore, teachers do not need to change what they teach, they just need to change how they deliver it.
I attended several of Mrs. Rouse's workshops and training seminars and returned to my classroom with strategies that actually made teaching fun, enjoyable, engaging, and challenging. The infusion of technology, creativity, and critical/analytical thinking were easily assessed using some of her strategies. Teaching in a multi-grade setting has it challenges, however the strategies provided empowered me to differentiate instructions more easily. Mrs. Rouse's professionalism, humor, and expertise ignited my 'joy' for teaching again !
